The 13th of the Series - Sub-Druid Hancock superstitiously refuses to do his 13th radio programme. When he is threatened with action for breach of contract, the 'Head Druid' (Sid) arranges a ceremony at Stonehenge.

The Wild Man of the Woods - Hancock's desire to 'get away from it all' leads him to camp in a bus shelter on Clapham Common, and then in a bit of a forest rented from Sid.

The Junk Man - While having a tidy up, Miss Pugh sells rag-and-bone-man Sid James some of Hancock's treasured heirlooms. Hancock is determined to get them back.

Bill and Father Christmas - Bill's belief in Father Christmas is shattered when he discovers Hancock dressing up on Christmas Eve. He is so upset that, on doctor's instructions, the others have to recreate his childhood Christmases in Australia.

Agricultural 'Ancock - Needing to prove that he is an agricultural labourer in order to retain his low rent, Hancock buys Lords Cricket Ground from Sid and starts farming it.

The New Secretary - Hancock decides to hire a secretary - and gets lumbered with the outsized, incompetent, aggressive Grizelda Pugh - who starts work by muddling up his mail.

The Insurance Policy - Sid persuades Hancock to take out a comprehensive insurance policy - at a premium greater then Hancock's income.

The Election Candidate - Hancock's preoccupation with collecting a complete set of plastic guardsmen given away with the cornflakes is interrupted buy his local Liberal Party (Independent Party), who want him to stand as their candidate in the East Cheam by-election.

This special compilation includes the first radio show, The First Night Party, and Hancock's last BBC television show, The Succession - Son and Heir, as well as the finest and funniest moments from programmes such as The Ladies' Man, The Wild Man of the Woods, Sunday Afternoon at Home, The Emigrant, The Bowmans, The Knighthood, The Cold, Twelve Angry Men, and, of course, The Blood Donor.
