The Poetry Society - A poetry evening with a group of Hancock's new avant-garde friends produces gems of abstract poetry, not only from the group but from Sid and Bill.

Sid's Mystery Tours - Sid talks Hancock into becoming the director of his guided tours company - which doesn't even own a coach.

The Sleepless Night - Hancock intends to get a good night's sleep, but events - and the other occupants of he house - keep him awake all night.

Fred's Pie Stall - Fred's Pie Stall, which has stood in Cheam square for sixty years, is threatened with closure by the council - until Hancock sets out to save it…

Hancock's War - Hancock impresses the Vicar with tales of his exploits in Military Intelligence - including his escape from a prisoner-of-war camp and his arrival in Berlin just before the Russians.

The Christmas Club - When Sid accidentally gives the slate money to the Police Benevolent Fund, he faces a Christmas of starvation.

The Lift - Hancock is the ninth passenger in a lift which is designed to carry eight. When the lift sticks between floors, and stays there all night, his attempts to cheer everybody up are not appreciated by the others.

Twelve Angry Men - Hancock stands out against his fellow jurors in believing a petty criminal is inoccent. Sid, attracted by the daily payment to jurors, joins him, and they set about browbeating the others.

The Diary - Browsing in his diary for 1956, Hancock imagines himself as a surgeon, a lion tamer, and a test pilot whose flight is disastrously upset by the unexpected presence of Kenneth Williams.

The Old School Reunion - Returning to his old school with Sid and Bill, Hancock regales them with stories of his successes as a scholar and athlete.

Hancock in the Police - As a policeman on the beat in Bond Street, Hancock unwittingly causes a series of robberies by conversationally leaking security information to Sid. A trap is set - with Hancock disguised as a woman.

The East Cheam Drama Festival - The cast perform three short plays - 'Jack's Return Home', 'Look Back in Hunger', and 'The Life of Ludwig Van Beethoven and the Songs that Made him Famous'.
